Frequently Asked Questions
What will happen with my voicemail?
Upon activating your new SIM card, you’ll need to reset your voicemail. Unfortunately, this process will
cause all existing messages to be lost.
If you’d like to keep any of your existing messages, you will need to save them to your phone or use a 3rd
party service before activating your SIM card. Not all phone models allow you to save messages directly to
your phone. Please check your user manual to see if this option is available to you.
What will happen to my Plan and benefits after I upgrade my SIM card?
You get to keep them! Your Plan and benefits will be transferred and your Service End Date won’t change once your upgrade is complete.
Will the new SIM card work with my phone?
Absolutely! When you request your FREE SIM card, you’ll receive a new SIM card that is compatible with your current phone.
Why should I update my SIM card?
It is important that you update your SIM card in order to maintain a reliable connection within the Verizon network.
